EpcotServo's July 22nd MK Update: Kingdom Come

MK?

What?

OH YEAH! The castle park, now I remember. Haven't been there in a while! So it was time to brave the always-crazy-crowds at Kingdom, and I bring back pictures and updates! Let's start with the boring part, shall we?

MAGIC KINGDOM

-Laugh Flur is now on the maps. (No, not the song "Maps", the Park Maps.)

-Crowds were heavy, wait times high. Save for during Spectromagic, which is, as usual, a great time to ride things.

-City Hall's clock tower is still missing. Save the Clock Tower!

-Liberty Square Bridge is still open, though there's lots of work being done under it.

-Got to see Space Mountain with the lights on! It was down for about 45 minutes.-Want to thank Eric at Jungle Cruise for the best Jungle Cruise since my last trip to Disneyland. Also he managed to un-stall the boat, so we weren't stuck in the darkness of the Amazon River at night for a good 20-30 minutes waiting for a tow.

-maxed out Buzz again. (999,999!) I guess Midway Mania has really raised the bar. I say tear it out for a Wall-E dark ride!

-Laff Floor was really funny, despite me knowing most of the jokes. Interesting though, they've added a sound effect to one of the door handles in the Waiting Area. It made a noise, but I didn't catch what it was.

OK, that's it for the non-picture part. Now on to the pictures!

Enjoy!

EpcotServo's July 15th DAK/STUDIOS Update: The Park Night

Hey Everyone. Done with Potterland,Tiki Rooms, and Shanghi? Me too. That means it's update time! Lots of pictures, so let's cut the chat and get straight to it then!

ANIMAL KINGDOM

-Crowds were medium to heavy when I got there, but then it started to Rain!

and rain.....and rain.....A deluge! After maybe only 30 Minutes the park was pretty much cleared out! To give you an idea...

A: I walked right into a Countdown pre-show. After riding through once, the Load area was empty thanks to being between pre-shows and they let everyone in the rover go through for another ride through. (To everyone from Countdown To Breakdown: Yes, I stayed on. I have no idea why. It's like they never want you to leave.)

B:I walked right onto a Safari truck. Thanks to it still raining very hard, I guess people thought they'd get soaked. I got misted, but stayed mostly dry and had a great time.

C:Pangani Forest Trail was just pretty much me, the cast Members, the animals not hiding, and all the rain.

D: Eating at Restarauntosaurus, a manager had to come out and explain to me and the few people there why the food was taking so long. The reason? It was so empty they had to stop making food non-stop or else they'd be throwing food away, so they had to make our food to order.

-Kali River Rapids was down, and halfway drained.

STUDIOS

-Crowds were medium.

-They've added a giant guitar pick sign to the Stratocaster outside RNR that says "Presented by HANES".

-New Midway Mania Merch!

A: Three new Midway Mania mugs at $11.95 each.

B: A kid's shirt with a Little Green Men face on it. On the back it says "Ring Me!" with a Toy Story Midway Mania logo on it.

C: The already talked-about Pixar shirt and jacket.

D: The Spring-Action Shooter keychain, $6.95. Very cool! Description inside.

-Waits for Midway Mania were posted high, but weren't that bad. Maybe 30 minutes. It moved fast thanks to hordes of Fastpass Returnees not coming in.

OK, that's all for news. Now on the pictures!

Enjoy!

EpcotServo's July 3rd MINI-EPCOT Update: INDEPENDENCE DAY (Almost)

Hey there! Had to do a quick bit of shopping at EPCOT, and I figured I might as well ride a few rides and take a few pictures. (Really, just a few pictures. 10 to be exact.)

Anyways, here's a small rundown.

EPCOT

-Crowds were actually medium. I was very surprised, I thought it'd be packed seeing as how it's the day before July 4th.

-The only Wall-E merch to be found was a small shelf in Mousegear with kids' clothes and a selection of the smaller action figures. Really dissapointing figuring how many things there are and how well the movie did. But at least I have a small Wall-E figure for the time being.

-On Spaceship Earth I noticed the greek teacher appeared to be leaking a clear liqud on the floor. On the way out of the park, the ride was closed. Releated? I'm sure!

-In other Spaceship Earth news, THE PAPERBOY IS DONE! And a big "Eat it!" to all ye of little faith. Whilst he is still facing the mural, he's now a fully-fleshed out AA, moving rapidly and fastly. He even has such a wide range of motion, you can even see his face sometimes when he looks over his shoulder! Thus finally revealing WHY he's been turned around this whole time.

Case Closed!

OK, that's it. Here's a few pictures!

Enjoy!
