The internet is serious business

So what with Updates being here and there nowadays, I'd figure I'd vow to provide more observations, and therefore posts. You know, like one of the blogs where some guy from Beavertown, Wisconsin writes really bad poetry about a butterfly flying by a waterfall, and there's just one comment that says "GusZeebo2348 says: Deep man, deep."
I'm not so much into that, but It seems alot of people are in love with that (The sites I mean, not the poetry.), what with the Facetubes and the Myface pages. I guess they just think the internet is for "Networking" where as I see it more as something you talk at, not talk too. you know? It's like your in the middle of a crowded street shouting "I HAD A BAD DAY!". Sure, some people will want to know more, but most will just walk right past thinking "What was with that guy?"

Well whatever I'm doing, I get alot of comments about it. Now you may be wondering why all of them say "This comment has been deleted by a blog admin." (AKA me.) Well that may excite you, you know, thinking that somebody must've come by and posted something against my point of view. Which is funny, because what would it be? What? Like "I HATE FLOWERS AND GARDENS! YOU SUCK!"? Jeez, that guy is MAD about Flowers. A flower must've killed his parents or something...I don't know. Anyways, what those were...........was spam. I didn't even think you could get spam on a blog. I guess "Blogspam" just never entered my mind, but now I know. It's always like "Anole says: See HERE and HERE", and it's not fooling ANYBODY. I mean, you hover over the HERE part and see www.xzxzsd14freedrugs@weaselbone/upwithpeopledar.wacom ! And it's like....."I don't know if that's a comment about my post or not." But I assume the boards over at freedrugsweaselbone are not alive with discussion about my Block Party Bash update.
Speaking of strong reactions, My last update thread on my site of choice (http://www.wdwmagic.com/) had a bit of trouble. Now I won't name names, but a certain infamous member of the forums there, let's call him........WouserMerf. Well awhile ago he posted a thread (as he is oft one to do) on how because Spaceship Earth had no line, it meant that the rehab had a negative impact on the ride's popularity, and that guests were "Voting with their feet." Now since this is crazy, because Spaceship Earth NEVER has long lines, I made a jab or two (As I am one oft to do.) at it in my last update. Well since I didn't ride Spaceship Earth on this trip (mainly because of the line thing) it meant that I was therefore voting against the new Spaceship Earth. Now since I had sat around a combined total of 19 hours waiting to ride Spaceship Earth after the reahab, I told him how crazy the comment was. Now after some nice posts by the sane members of the boards, he posted something along the lines of this.....
"Well at least I don't have F&G photos i post in a public gallery that i use to promote my website to get more hits and then come back to that thread to promote myself even more-I can't think of anybody who does that"
I think he's talking about me....Anyways, I kindly told him that my Updatepage has no hit counter. I still to this day have no idea how many people have visted this site. (Except you, because I'm talking to you right now, so that's.....one!) Anyhoo, after the kind mods went through (Remember "Anole says: See Here and Here"? It's like that, but on a bigger scale.) and removed his jerkitude, the thread was back on topic.
But that left to me to wonder (wha-wha-wha-whaaa-wonder!), Do I self promote myself?
Do I really do all this just to watch that hit counter I don't have?
Do I just want attention?
What does Anole at 14freedrugs@weaselbone think?
The answers....
no, no, maybe, and "see here and here"

EpcotServo's Mar. 20th EPCOT Update: Rosebud

Hey everybody! Went to check out this year's Flower & Garden FestivalShowEvent, and brought back lots of pictures! It was quite crowded and I wasn't able to ride anything, but it was very pretty out with a nice breeze and it was a great day to enjoy a great festival. What with all the gardens, palm trees, and Beach Boys music playing nonstop, I have to say that this year is MUCH better then the last two. I thought both of those themes were quite dull. This year it's VERY good! Not much news, but plenty of pictures so....let's get on with it!

Enjoy!

EpcotServo's Mar. 9th STUDIOS Update: Block Party Bashing!

Namaste everybody! Went down to the Studios today to catch the first real performance of Block Party Bash. Gots lots of photos, so let's get right to it then!

STUDIOS

-It was pretty cool today, but sunny which warmed things up if you weren't in the shade.

-Cheerleaders...Why did it have to be Cheerleaders? FOR YOUR INFROMATION: NO, your group of 12 year old Cheerleaders CAN NOT ride together once you reach the end of the SINGLE RIDERS LINE. Oy vey!

-It was pretty crowded, see above.

-Block Party Bash is GREAT! And that's from somebody who really doesn't care for parades at all. It's really more of a show than a parade, and the Block Party name pretty much sums it up. The first 11 minute show stop takes place from the end of Hollywood Blvd., to near the hat. It then turns and makes it's way towards Epic, and stops near there. (leaving the end of the parade near where the front stopped.) Then it goes through the Star Tours gate. (Didn't see how that went down.) It's really quite exciting, and it lacks the "Dream a dreamy dream wish magic that you remember to believe, come true" music that I'm not a HUGE fan of in Parades, instead featuring new versions of some great non-disney tunes. The floats are REALLY BIG and tower over the Studios' small walkways. They really look cool. The Cast really gives it their all, and I feel sorry for them already for having to do SUCH an intensve show in the middle of our hot Florida summers. They are real troopers, and their energy and hard work MAKES it great. There is NOOOO way they could ever do TWO shows in a day, I think. On a funny note, the blasters that shoot the little balls out nearest me shot most of them into the grassy area off Hollywood Blvd. They now have a Cast Member there to pick them up and throw them back into the crowd.

OK, on to the pictures!

Enjoy!

EpcotServo's Mar. 1st EPCOT Update: Crazed mob brakes rides!

Hey everybody, WDW Magic meet update!

-Firstoff on Spaceship Earth, in the dark curtain filled blackness of descent, before our videos, we got stuck for around 10 minutes or so! I'll let the others go into details, but Cast Members went up and down, and needless to say, it was interesting conversation whilst stuck with nothing to look at.

-As reported elsewhere, there is a cool new retro shirt, pictures included.

-Crowds were light to medium, lines not too bad.

-After a ride around Universe of Energy, at the final portion in Theatre 1, we noticed that something was up. The curtain for the smaller screen at the apex of theatre 1 was 1/4th up, and we didn't rotate before the show ended. We got a great view of Theatre 2, and we then got to be in a Universe of Energy "Evac". Looks like we WDW Magic people were broke two rides!

-The Goodyear blimp was everywhere!

-It was a great meet, and alot of fun!

OK, that's it...on to the pictures!

Enjoy!
