EpcotServo's October 20th and 22nd Update: MGM and more MGM.

Hey there! Got two days of MGM photos, so let's get right to the news!
(Note: This is a trip to Disney MGM Studios, not to be confused with Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney-Pixar Studios,Disney Studios,Walt Disney Studios, walt Disney Studios Paris, and Disney's California Adventure.........studios.)

MGM

-First up, Sid's shop sign is missing, It has in it's place a cardboard version of it.

-The Playhouse Disney concert-thing is going on.

-Saw that there is ALOT of construction going on in ABC Theatre...any new guesses on what show is going in there?

-Toy Story Mania is coming along well, and I noticed that there was alot of bricks getting ready to be placed somewhere...the building is looking pretty nice!

Well, that's it for the news. Enjoy the pictures!

EpcotServo's October 18th Update: Around EPCOT Center

Hello everyone! I was going to call this "EpcotServo's October 18th Update: Spaceship Earth will have Lasers coming out of it, and a giant fountain on the top!", but I thought that was a little too forward of me.

Ok, enough with the funny stuff, let me get to the news...

EPCOT
-The Land sign is missing! all that's there is the two stone shapes that were holding it.

MISSING SIGNAGE:

HAVE YOU SEEN ME?

-Over at The (Living) Seas with Nemo and Friends queue, they've added a digital projector that shows those silver fish from Finding Nemo doing impressions. My favorite: The Monorail! I didn't see the whole loop, but it looks pretty cool.

-Wonders of Life and Booze is pretty depressing.

-The EPCOT gallery is still great!

-Be warned: Not all the coke machines in Club Cool taste the same. I had a cup of Vegabeta at three of the machines and each one tasted diffrent. The first one was thick and foamy and went directly into the garbage, the second one was fizzly but warm, and finally the third one tasted right.

-Funny thing happened on the Friendship boat from Canada to Morocco. Someone asked if it was on a track, and as the captain explaned that it WAS on a track and how that was a good thing because he wasn't certified to drive a boat like this he spinned the boat around! He then said "uh-oh. We left the track!" Everyone laughed as he spun the boat back around and headed the right way. It was very funny! Good show.

Well that's about it, here's the pictures. Enjoy!

Due to space issues my October 1st Update won't be around for much longer! This weekend is the last time you'll be able to see it, so I'd see it one more time before it goes!

And if you haven't noticed Part 3 of my CALIFORNIA Update has been put up, and I think it's the best. It's also the largest Update I've ever done! Part 4, the final issue of the Disneyland Update, is coming soon, and I'll hope you join me for that!

Thanks for watching!

Scared yet?

Post on WDW Magic-
"The fact is, Disney is hiring pedophiles. Period."

Yes. What is destroying Disney more than serial killer cast members BEHIND YOU!!! THIS is the Disney Threat Down!

5-Space Mountain!
Now we all agree that Space Mountain needs a rehab. We all know the trash thrown to the bottom of the ride has lost it's luster after all these years. But the problem is that the ride is too darn big. Note to past: If you keep building these huge attractions, how on earth can we fix them properly if you make them huge and much bigger than the budget for a meet and greet? I suggest this...we tear it down. So as not to upset the "Disney-philes" we'll keep the building, but just replace the roller coaster with a simulator. There's bound to be somewhere where we have six perfectly fine simulators sitting unused for no reason? I can't for the life of me think where though...

4-Tigger!
After so many problems with the SAME tiger I say we just let him bounce right back to the Hundred Acre wood. Kids won't know the diffrence between Tigger and Chicken Little!

3-Toontown Fair!
Hey, Toontown fair? Tomorrowland or Fantasyland? Pick a side, we're at war!

2-Upkeep!
No matter how many rehabs we do, those "Inter-nazis" on the Disney websites will say "That's good and all, but since we're out to destroy the Disney Company, why don't you fix up this other ride too?" I know what we need to do. Stop doing upkeep. If everything thing is broken, soon nobody will be able to tell what's broken and what's fixed. See Magic Kingdom. It's working fine over there! Problem solved.

And the number one threat facing Disney...

1-Rides!
Now I know that they have been the backbone of our theme parks for nearly 50 years, but just look closer. Where do all the problems come from...the adding, fixing, and updating of attractions. We can solve all those problems in ONE EASY STEP...remove them! If you notice our gift shops and meet and greets are doing fine. Just expand them into so called "Attractions" and soon our all our problems will be over.

Checkmate!

EpcotServo's October 10th Update: Around the World in 80 Updates

Hello everybody! Feeling a little bit put down that Al Lutz thinks we WDW people are SO stupid that we don't understand rides? Also did he call you a DOM? Did your mom say that you can't play with that Al Lutz kid because he's too mean? Well I'll try as best to cheer you (and me) up from them Miceage-folk by doing some Updating. It's been awhile since I've just covered a normal day at the parks has it not? Well then let's get started! First a quick note that I thought was pretty funny, and by happy accident. Yesterday I ended up riding ALL of the big rides outside of Magic Kingdom in ONE day! First I started by getting the nerve up to ride RNR for the first time. (The only ride at Disney I had never done.) Then I took my usual Tower ride, then I went over to DAK to ride Everest, and I ended up at EPCOT where I was able to do Mission: SPACE, Test Track and Soarin' without much wait. Just an interesting note on my day, and as the SEGA Dreamcast Podracing game would've said, "It's a new track record!" Anyhoo, on to the real news.

MGM

-They've added (mostly) ABC ads to the Parking lot, so if you ride the tram you'll see a classic MGM ride return with a new twist..."Get Happy with ABC: The Ride-Through edition"!

-Over at Muppets I noticed a weird thing in it's extended queue near the old theatre at the end of San Fransisco street. They took out the switchback that had the "Don't look through this hole" joke, and fenced it all off and added this huge blue tank. Anybody have any more information on this? (Picture in update)

-The Jedi training stage. Not new news.

DAK

-So I went to confirm the rumor of new mist, and it was right. However it ISN'T the misters that were placed there as part of the ride. They are brand new ones placed over the overhang between Track switch A and Broken Trestle. It rolls down the overhang, falls off, and hits the train as it's going up Broken Trestle. I didn't get much of it, but it DOES cool you down a bit. It looks great if you look at it by turning around at Broken Trestle.

-at Everest, both waterfalls were off, and the Yeti was in B show. Haven't seen that in awhile.-The Yak and Yeti is progressing nicely.

-They've added a new sign between the two outgoing routes of DAK. It tells people where to get their photos and such.

EPCOT

-The 25th signs from the toll area and the Spaceship Earth rehab wall are down now.

-They took out everything about Mission: SPACE race Online out of the advanced Training Lab at M:S.

-At Mexico, they have a great new mug with the Mexico map art from the end of the Gran Fiesta Tour on it. And on the handle it has a spinning Donald from the Small World part of the ride. Very neat!

-Finally got a chance to mess around with the Motion Capture thing at Soarin'. I have to say, I want my old Great Hall back.

Well, that's it for the words. Now on to the pictures! Enjoy!
