EpcotServo's Nov.27th MGM Update: It's begining to look alot like Emeryville!

Hey there folks, just came back from MGM with some hot-off-the-camera photos and updates from the Studios today! Some REALLY major TSM progress is the big news so let's get right to it then, shall we?

MGM-

-So a (little) bit of the wall around Toy Story Mania to reopen the bathrooms came down, and it now sports slick new brickwork and silver-ish Pixar-ish signage! And also, as expected, the overpowering smell of paint. The BIGGER news? The Pixar Place Emeryville-style gate is up! It has no words yet, but it's clearly it!

-Pretty funny, in the morning I say a parking Cast Member informing a car how to get off of the TRAM LANE!!! That's right, a car had managed to get in the tram lane, get all the way down past load, stop and get told off by the bathrooms (where I was watching)

-Crowds not too bad. Waits were good, and I walked on RNR through the Single Riders line more than a few times.-Had everything from a restraint not being able to click all the way down right next to me (Don't worry, it was fine.) A kid needing to be bailed out of the Limotrain while in load, and a mis-Launch (when the audio starts before the launch) at RNR. Though in the morning it was running great! No waiting for the launcher to come back, and no waiting at the hold before Unload! Had to be because they weren't running many Limotrains.

OK, that's pretty much it. Now for the pictures!

Enjoy!

-The first night of the Spectacle of Lights was great, and everything worked fine!

Magic Kingdom

-Old news, but Art of Disney is coming to the Main Street Cinema.

-Crowds were great, got to walk right on Mansion, Big Thunder, and Pirates!

-The new laugh Floor signage and pre-show is very good.

How to survive the Writers' strike!

Since the Writer's may not be writing for some time, here's a list I compiled of things for you to do while they strike. And hopefully, by the time these TV shows come back on, you'll have grown to not care for them!

I kid, I kid. Ok, here's the list!

-The Darjeeling Limited!
An amazing, amazing movie, that I really loved. It's hard to catch, and I had to wait forever for it to come to Florida, but go see it if it's playing in your town. In fact, check right now, and see the next showing. You'll love it!

-Firefly!
To solve all your TV show problems, take a break from all the bad shows that get to stay, and check out the greatest TV show that died WAAYYYY before it's time! Head down to Target and you'll find the whole season for under $20. Then head over to the movie section, and get the movie "Serenity". That's the movie that came awhile after the show was cancelled. It's not as good as the TV show persay, but it does wrap up the series. The TV show is seriously one of the best shows I've ever had the pleasure to watch over, and over, and over again, and it will show what a great TV show really is!

-Grindhouse!
Just because not many good movies are coming out, dosen't mean there isn't some great movies you missed! Mainly, I suggest "Death Proof" and "Planet Terror". Two great films, by two great directors! You may have missed them as a fantastic double feature, but that dosen't mean you should miss out on these great films! Here are some other DVDs worth buying...

Hot Fuzz
300
Ratatouille
Transformers
Ocean's 13 (coming November 13th)
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (Coming December 4th)

-Be an American!
Read Stephen Colbert's new book, I am America (and so can you!)! You should have done this already, and if you have no plan too, you're a commie. There. I said it.

-Theme Parks!
Chances are, you live by an amusement or Theme Park. Go visit it!

Ok, that's it. A ton of fun, and no writing involved!

Ratatouille is now on DVD!

Pixar's newest masterpiece, Ratatouille, is now on DVD! I suggest picking it up at Target, since there it comes with a bonus disc! Enjoy!
